Stems usually suberect or trailing, to 35 cm, sometimes almost absent. Leaf blades rounded-deltate or triangular-hastate, mostly 40–60 mm wide, lobes retrorse or at right angles to midrib. Bracts 14–19 × 9–18 mm, proximally saccate, closely enfolding sepals, apex emarginate to rounded. Flowers: sepals 12–14 mm; corollas 40–73 mm.
Phenology: Flowering May–Aug.
Habitat: Grassy, wooded sites.
Elevation: 70–1700 m.
