Racemes: bracts glabrous or sparsely pilose. Flowers: calyx glabrous or sparsely pilose, lobes subulate, margins serrulate distally; corolla: galea purple to magenta, margins entire medially, 1-toothed distally; abaxial lip purple to magenta, not purple-spotted.


Phenology: Flowering Jun–Aug.
Habitat: Arctic coasts, alpine meadows, stream banks, taigas.
Elevation: 0–900 m.
