Leaf blades thick, fleshy, margins 12–18-toothed. Inflorescences congested, tangled ascending-hairy. Pistils connate most of their lengths. Capsules 3–8 mm.


Phenology: Flowering summer.
Habitat: Wet tundra, stream banks
Elevation: 0-1000 m

Discussion

In the flora area, variety insularis is known only from the Aleutian Islands.
