Leaves: basal blades unlobed or palmately lobed; cauline blades usually deeply divided, seldom unlobed, if divided, palmately 3–12-lobed, reniform, ± ovate, or deltate, usually wider than long, lobe margins usually entire, apex acute to obtuse.
Phenology: Flowering Apr–Aug.
Habitat: Dry, shaded or open forests
Elevation: 100–2300 m
Distribution
Calif., Oreg., Mexico (Baja California).
