Perianth: tube 20–35 mm, limbs often more than 15 mm diam. Fruits 6–10 mm, inconspicuously rugose veined, not appearing pitted.
Phenology: Flowering year-round.
Habitat: Sandy soils, sage-scrub, chaparral
Elevation: 100-2000 m
Distribution
Ariz., Calif., nw Mexico (Baja California).
