Phenology: Capsule maturity unknown.
Habitat: Moist calcareous areas of Arctic tundra
Elevation: low to moderate elevations (0-1100 m)

Discussion

Variety cochleariifolium is known from a few localities in Nunavut, and it may occur in Greenland. The variety is distinguished by distinctly cochleariform leaves. Sporophytes are unknown.
