Stems glabrous. Leaf blades: margins glabrous or scabrous. 2n = 16.
Phenology: Flowering May–Aug(–Sep).
Habitat: Sandy soils, creosote bush, blackbrush, and sagebrush shrublands, juniper woodlands.
Elevation: 700–1800 m.
Distribution
Ariz., Nev., N.Mex., Tex., Utah, Mexico (Chihuahua).
