Plants 1–3.5 dm. Stems erect to spreading, simple or branched from base. Leaf blades 0.6–1.8 cm, basal teeth or lobes rounded, apex obtuse. Inflorescences with glomerules usually well spaced. Seeds 1–1.2 mm diam.
Phenology: Fruiting late spring–early fall.
Habitat: Sandy granitic alluvium, Joshua-tree woodlands, salt-desert shrubs and greasewood or creosote bush communities
Elevation: 1400-2500 m
Distribution
Ariz., Calif., Nev., Utah.
