Blade with pale to bright yellow farina on abaxial surface. n = 2n = 150, apogamous.


Phenology: Sporulating spring–fall.
Habitat: Rocky slopes and cliffs, usually on granitic or volcanic substrates
Elevation: 100–1100 m
