Young stems, leaf abaxial surface, and pedicels and bracteoles glabrous or glabrate. Flowers: hypanthial abaxial surface glabrous or glabrate, adaxial pubescent.


Phenology: Flowering Jun–Aug; fruiting Jul–Nov.
Habitat: Along streams, lakeshores, meadows, forest openings and edges, wooded to open slopes
Elevation: 500–3500 m
