Leaf blades gray-green, thick, densely pubescent. Staminal columns 3.5–5 mm.


Phenology: Flowering spring–summer.
Habitat: Shallow soil, calcareous soil
Elevation: 1400–2000 m

Discussion

Of conservation concern.

Variety caespitosa is known from Beaver and Millard counties.
