Scape 10–25 cm × 1–2 mm. Umbel 12–60-flowered. Flowers: tepals white to pink or pale lavender with darker midvein, apex not spreading or recurved at tip; ovarian crest process margins laciniate, usually with additional protuberances on ovary surface at crest bases. 2n = 14.
Phenology: Flowering Apr–May.
Habitat: Sandy or rocky soils on open slopes and flats
Elevation: 800–1400 m

Populations of Allium fimbriatum var. mohavense from the north base of the San Bernardino Mountains intergrade with the typical variety and are placed here provisionally.
