Herbage glabrous. Leaf blades broadly triangular, basal lobes spreading, ± 2-pointed, basal sinus rounded. Bracts (12–)14–26(–32) × (6–)10–18 mm, proximally keeled. Flowers: corolla white, limb margin rarely pink-tinged, (28–)48–50(–80) mm; stamens (19–)23–30 mm. 2n = 22.


Phenology: Flowering Jun–Sep.
Habitat: Disturbed sites, edges of marshes, thickets, and woods, hedges, roadsides, stream banks, tidal swamps.
Elevation: 70–2400 m.
