Leaves: petiole 1–2 mm; blade: base rounded to obtuse, apex usually acute, rarely retuse. Pedicels 0.5–1 mm. Flowers: sepals sericeous; corolla tube glabrous, lobes ovate, apices rounded, distally hairy. Capsules 4–5 mm. Seeds reddish brown.
Phenology: Flowering Mar–Dec.
Habitat: Rocky, caliche and limestone ledges, slopes, or talus.
Elevation: 700–1300 m.
Distribution
Tex., Mexico (Chihuahua, Coahuila, San Luis Potosí).
