Leaf blades broadly ovate to subdeltate, 20–60 × 7–30 mm, lengths 1–2 times widths. Peduncles 2–22 mm. Phyllaries: apices (inner) mostly obtuse to nearly rounded.


Phenology: Flowering Aug–Nov.
Habitat: Igneous soils, montane and canyon slopes
Elevation: 1500–2200 m
