Leaves: basal leaves glabrous, rarely ± puberulent along midvein and margins, (11–)25–55(–75) × (4–)7–22(–32) mm, cauline blade margins ± serrate. Flowers: corolla 10–13 mm.
Phenology: Flowering May–Jun.
Habitat: Pinyon-juniper and pine woodlands.
Elevation: 1500–3400 m.
Discussion
Variety obtusifolius is known only from Washington County.
