Racemes (often strongly congested), not elongated in fruit; central rachis (0.6–)1.2–7(–9) cm. Fruiting pedicels horizontal, straight, not whitish, stout, 3–5(–6) mm, strongly flattened at base. Flowers: petals usually lavender, rarely white, (5–)6–8.5(–9.5) mm; gynophore stout, 0.5–1(–3) mm. Fruits horizontal or divaricate-ascending to ascending, straight or incurved, (0.9–)1.4–2.7(–3.4) cm.
Phenology: Flowering Jun–Aug.
Habitat: Alkaline areas, desert shrub communities, canyons
Elevation: 800-2400 m
