Basal leaf blades linear, 1–15 × 0.05–0.3 cm. Cauline leaf blades perfoliate, 2–10 cm diam. Flowers 2–8 mm diam., petals white or pink. 2n = 24, 36, 48.


Phenology: Flowering Mar–Jun.
Habitat: Waste ground, landslides, highway margins, heavily grazed land
Elevation: 0-2000 m
