Scape 15–25(–35) cm. Umbel 15–30(–50)-flowered. Flowers: tepals white to usually pink or lavender; stamens equaling tepals or short-exserted; ovary crests purple in fresh specimens. 2n = 14.


Phenology: Flowering Mar–Apr.
Habitat: Clay soils, including serpentine, on open or grassy slopes
Elevation: 200–900 m
