Stems reddish to dark brown. Leaf margins dentate to pinnately lobed (segments cuspidate). 2n = 10.


Phenology: Flowering May–Oct.
Habitat: Coastal areas, sandy soils
Elevation: 0–200 m

Discussion

Variety pectinata is known from the South Coast Range from Monterey County to northern Santa Barbara County.
