Flowers: calyx lobes 5–10 mm; corolla 14–20 mm; pollen sacs 0.8–1.3(–1.5) mm; style 11–15 mm.


Phenology: Flowering Apr–Jun(–Jul).
Habitat: Sandy soils, dunes.
Elevation: 60–400 m.

Discussion

Variety acuminatus occurs primarily in the Columbia River Basin from north-central Oregon to central Washington.
