Internodes 1–2(–3) mm. Leaf blades 1–2.5(–5) mm wide, length usually 2–2.5 times width.
Phenology: Flowering Jun–Aug.
Habitat: Rocky slopes, canyons, sandhills.
Elevation: 800–1700 m.
Distribution
N.Mex., Tex., Mexico (Chihuahua, Coahuila, Zacatecas).
