Plants: hairs common to dense. Stems 0.2–1.2 dm. Central leaflets obovate, petiolule 0–2 mm, base cuneate, teeth narrowly triangular to oblong, tooth apex subacute to obtuse. Inflorescences 1(–3)-flowered. Flowers: epicalyx bractlets narrowly to ± oblong or ovate, 1.5–2 mm wide; sepals: apex subacute to obtuse. 2n = 42.


Phenology: Flowering late spring–summer.
Habitat: Polar deserts, moist tundra, meadows, boulder and gravel fields, rocky outcrops, talus, mainly acidic bedrock
Elevation: 0–1500 m
