Flowering stems creeping, 0.5–3 dm. Leaves alternate; blade spatulate-elliptic to obovate, 1.5–3 cm, margins not glandular, obtusely crenate. Flowers: sepals linear to suboblong, 3–5 mm, apex obtuse; petals spreading, yellow, lanceolate, 8–10 mm, apex acute, minutely apiculate. Carpels divergent in fruit, connate basally.
Phenology: Flowering summer.
Habitat: Rocky places, roadsides, fields, waste places
Elevation: 0-1000 m
Distribution
Introduced; Alta., Man., Ont., Que., nc Asia.
