Shrubs, densely branched. Leaf blade usually deeply cupped, margins revolute; surfaces abaxially with hairs usually 1-2 mm, rays curly, adaxially grayish or yellowish, with persistent stellate pubescence.

Habitat: Serpentine soils
Elevation: 150-1500 m
