Stems with leafy shoots 0.7–1 mm wide, branches strongly julaceous, tumid, turgid, curved. Stem leaves deeply concave, 0.9–1.5(–2) × 0.3–1(–1.2) mm.


Habitat: Shady grassy soil, shaded rock
Elevation: low to moderate elevations (0-1500 m)
