Bulbs 1–2 × 1.2–1.5 cm. Leaf blade 1–2 mm wide. Tepals deep rose-colored, aging to purple. Pedicel 3–15 mm. 2n = 14.
Phenology: Flowering Apr–Jun.
Habitat: Usually sandy soils, plains
Elevation: 300–1300 m
