Stems erect, glabrate. Leaf blades (6–)8–14 cm, margins serrate, abaxial faces densely gland-dotted. Peduncles (relatively slender) 20–40 cm. Ray laminae 15–23 mm. Discs 14–15(–16) mm diam. 2n = 34.


Phenology: Flowering late spring–fall.
Habitat: Open areas, sandy soils with pine and oak
Elevation: 10–100+ m
