Leaves mostly linear, 2–5 mm wide, margins usually entire or obscurely serrulate. 2n = 20, 30.
Phenology: Flowering Aug–Oct.
Habitat: Dry, open, disturbed sites, along roadsides
Elevation: 10–200+ m
