Bodies mostly orbiculate to depressed-elliptic (1–2 × 1.5–3.5 mm distal to widest point), apices rounded, with little or no flare 1 mm from tip. 2n = 8(+ 0–2 b), phyllaries ± expanded distal to stalks.
Phenology: Flowering spring–fall.
Habitat: Wooded areas, river bottoms, roadsides
Elevation: 200–600 m
