Leaves: cauline (0 or)1–8. Bracts: margins entire. Flowers: calyx tomentose; corolla tube light purple to purple; galea +/- purple; abaxial lip +/- purple.


Phenology: Flowering Jun–Aug.
Habitat: Somewhat barren well-drained rocky slopes, gravel meadows along streams and lakeshores.
Elevation: 1800–3200 m.
