Cauline leaves (at least some) 3-lobed. Discs 10–15 mm diam. Ray laminae 8–17 mm. 2n = 38, ca. 57, 57.

Habitat: Mesic to wet woodlands, thickets, pastures, roadsides, meadows
Elevation: 20–300 m
