Pollen usually yellow. Cypselae mostly 3–4.5 mm., disc florets mostly 60–100.


Phenology: Flowering Feb–May.
Habitat: Grassy places among shrubs near ocean
Elevation: 10–100 m

Discussion

Of conservation concern.

Blenosperma nanum var. robustum is known only from Marin County.
