Flowers: corolla lavender to violet, blue, or pinkish blue.
Phenology: Flowering May–Jun.
Habitat: Sagebrush shrublands, pinyon-juniper and oak woodlands, ponderosa pine forests.
Elevation: 1300–2600 m.
Distribution
Ariz., Colo., N.Mex., Utah.
Discussion
Variety lentus is known from southwestern Colorado, where it has been documented in Archuleta, Dolores, Montezuma, Montrose, and San Miguel counties; it occurs also in Apache and Navajo counties, Arizona, McKinley and San Juan counties, New Mexico, and San Juan County, Utah.
