Young twigs, peduncles, and leaves densely hirtellous.
Phenology: Flowering Mar–May.
Habitat: Rocky or sandy soils, flats, washes, slopes, rock outcrops, canyon walls, cliff faces, commonly with Larrea, Yucca, Ambrosia
Elevation: 500–1300 m
Distribution
Ariz., Calif., Nev., Utah.
