Flowers: calyx hispid, lobes filiform; corolla: tube yellow; galea yellow to yellow tinged with red, or purple tinged with yellow, 8–13 mm, beakless, apex obtuse; abaxial lip yellow to yellow tinged with purple.


Phenology: Flowering Jun–Aug.
Habitat: Edges and openings in coniferous forests.
Elevation: 600–2200 m.

Alta., B.C., Idaho, Mont., Wash.
