Cauline leaves: blade lanceolate to linear, margins entire or obscurely, rarely sharply, serrate. Flowers: calyx lobes 6.5–8.5 × 2.4–3.5 mm; corolla 22–30 mm.
Phenology: Flowering Apr–May(–Jul).
Habitat: Limestone prairies and bluffs.
Elevation: 400–700 m.
Distribution
Tex., Mexico (Coahuila).
Discussion
Variety integrifolius has been documented in Concho, Crockett, Edwards, Irion, Reagan, Schleicher, Sutton, Tom Green, and Val Verde counties. Specimens from Concho and Tom Green counties with margins of cauline leaves serrate as in var. triflorus and smaller flowers as in var. integrifolius are included here.
