Involucres 2.5–3 × 2.5–5 mm. ray florets 10–18. disc florets 15–25. pappus scales 0.5–1.4 mm.


Phenology: Flowering Mar–May.
Habitat: Open sites in brushland
Elevation: 0–10 m

Discussion

Variety grandis is known from the Rio Grande valley.
