Rosettes dense, internodes not visible. Leaf blades 10–33 mm. Flowering shoots 3–9 cm. Flowers: sepals 3.5–6 mm, apex acute to long-tapered; petals cream, 7–10 × 2.2–3 mm; anthers 0.8–1 mm.
Phenology: Flowering late spring.
Habitat: Granite outcrops
Elevation: 300-1400 m
Discussion
Of conservation concern.
Variety paradisum is known from five populations in the Trinity Mountains.
