Some specimens from the Last Chance and Panamint ranges have broadly ovate to round calyx lobes and moderately glandular-pubescent corollas internally as in <i></i>var.<i> fruticiformis</i>, but they also have corollas glandular-pubescent externally as in <i></i>var.<i> amargosae</i>.</p>
