|discussion=<p>In the flora <i>Asplenium trichomanes-dentatum</i> is known only from shady hammocks in extreme southern peninsular Florida, where it grows in colonies. This delicate spleenwort should be studied in detail and compared with its similar and apparently conspecific counterparts in tropical America.</p>
