|discussion=<p><i>Kindbergia oregana</i> differs from the most common morphotype of <i>K. praelonga</i> in its more robust stature and simple branches. In addition, the branch leaves of <i>K. oregana</i> are usually distinctly plicate and the laminal cells are narrower and more thin-walled.</p>
