Plants included here in <i>L. serriola</i> with most leaf blades obovate to lanceolate (not lobed) and lacking prickles on midribs have been called L. scariola subsp. or var. integrata or <i>L. serriola</i> forma integrifolia or <i>L. serriola</i> var. integrata.</p>
