|discussion=<p><i>Corynephorus</i> is a Eurasian and North African genus of five species, one of which has been introduced into the Flora region. Flowering specimens are easily recognized by their distinctive awns, but sterile plants, with their involute, glaucous leaves, resemble involute-leaved species of <i>Festuca</i>, such as <i>F. trachyphylla</i>.</p>
