Petals yellow-spotted proximally, purple- or red-spotted distally, not clawed. 2n = 26.
Phenology: Flowering summer.
Habitat: Dry, rocky habitats, ledges, alpine and subalpine meadows, alpine tundra
Elevation: 500-4500 m
