Habitat: Hammocks and limestone sinks, occasionally on rocks
Elevation: 0–50 m
Distribution
Ala., Fla., Ga., S.C., West Indies in the Bahamas.
Discussion
This variety occasionally hybridizes with Thelypteris augescens and T. kunthii in Florida.
