Plants annual. Leaf blades usually triangular or rhombic, rarely lanceolate, green and farinose abaxially. Flowers: perianth segments 3, connate nearly to apex, margins entire; stigmas 0.2–0.5 mm. Seeds vertical and horizontal.
Distribution
Introduced; South America.
