Plants medium-sized or rarely large. Stem leaves erect-spreading to subimbricate, ovate or broadly ovate, abruptly or gradually narrowed to apex, ± falcate; apex acuminate or short-acuminate, not cucullate.
Habitat: Intermediately mineral-rich to mineral-rich and usually nutrient-poor habitats, fens, irrigated rock, relatively dry fens such as hummocks, submerged
Elevation: low to high elevations
Distribution
Greenland, Alta., B.C., Man., Nfld. and Labr., N.W.T., Ont., Que., Yukon, Alaska, n Eurasia.
