Plants 7–25 cm, glabrous or stipitate-glandular. Stems widely spreading to erect, branching proximally. Stipules 2–2.7 mm. Sepals 2.5–3.5 mm, to 4.3 mm in fruit, apex ± acute to narrowly obtuse. Capsules 3.5–5.3 mm, 1.2–1.3 as long as times sepals. Seeds 0.9–1.1 mm. 2n = 36.


Phenology: Flowering summer.
Habitat: Disturbed marshy areas
Elevation: 0-50 m
