--><p><i>Chlorogalum pomeridianum </i>var.<i> minus</i> differs from the other two varieties mainly in the absence of numerous persistent coarse fibers coating the bulb and in its comparatively diminutive stature. It may be confused with <i>C. grandiflorum</i>, which also has membranous bulb coats and undulate leaf blades, but <i></i></i>var.<i><i> minus</i> can be distinguished by the presence of slender pedicels that are as long or nearly as long as the perianth.</p>
